27 year old American writer, comedian and actress Wally Baram has shot to fame thanks to her starring role in Benito Skinner's Prime Video series Overcompensating.
Raised in New Jersey, the Mexican-Syrian comic began pursuing stand-up full time in her teens; her commitment paid off and by her mid-twenties she was writing for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, What We Do in the Shadows and Harrison Ford's Shrinking. With a sold out US tour for her latest stand-up show running until September, and making Variety's Power of Young Hollywood list in August, 2025 is certainly shaping up to be Baram's year.
